The MPD were questioned when we would see the other Lt for PSA 305 (Lt. Burley Sanders). MPD stated that his status was "not full duty" and that he would not be on the street, and only on desk duty. When asked if we would be staying with two PSA 305 Lts., Captain Snyder said yes.

In general, crime is down, the MPD attributed this to increased foot patrols and other efforts.
The December 24, 2008, incident on T Street was the only particular incident discussed. This was an event described in some of the list serves as an incident involving 20 young people involved in a prolonged street fight where bricks, and pipes were wielded, and a knife.
Neighborhood email list postings also described damage to two parked cars (one with blood on it). The email list described the MPD response as in-adequate.
Captain Snyder stated that there was one arrest of a female related to the incident for disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer. The captain stated that there were no other arrests or charges. Captain Snyder stated that there was a fight that occurred on the 1900 block of 9th Street, and that the fight re-occurred on T Street.
Captain Snyder stated that they were not able to verify that the fight came from a particular establishment on 9th St. Captain Snyder stated that he has asked Jova to set up a meeting with the businesses on 1900 block of 9th St. Captain Snyder also stated that Lt. Jova was asked to contact the residents of T St. for witnesses.
MPD present at the meeting expressed no knowledge of a knife at the incident, while John DeTaeye, from Councilmember Graham's office discussed an email from the community describing a knife being placed under a car by one of the individuals involved, as well as blood on the car. MPD was questioned as to why there was no police report for this incident. MPD present seemed to be unaware of some of the details described in the list-serves. John DeTaeye provided the MPD with the individuals from the email list posting that should be contacted.
