Neighborhood and Community Organizations
These are local neighborhood and civic organizations which are active in the Greater U Street Neighborhood or very nearby.  Together, these many local organizations work daily to improve the quality of life in our neighborhood and throughout the District of Columbia.

Our neighbors just to the north of U Street! The Meridian Hill Neighborhood Association is a nonprofit neighborhood association dedicated to improving our community by strengthening relationships between neighbors, businesses, and others.

MidCity BA, is a business-to-business-to-consumer organization that represents businesses on the commercial corridors that stretch down 14th Street from Florida Avenue to Thomas Circle and along U from 9th to 17th as well as several side streets.
