U Street Neighborhood Association will be holding its first meeting of 2012 January 2012 at Source (1835 14th St NW, 2nd floor) - January 12, 7:00. Matchbox and Black and Orange will be presenting their plans for their restaurants.
December 2011 Holiday Party
Thanks to everyone who attended the U Street Neighborhood Association holiday party, at Local 16 (1602 U Street NW, second floor) on December 8th, 7:00-9:00. Special thanks to Local 16 for hosting us and to the businesses that contributed silent auction items. We elected our officers for the upcoming year - Brian Card (President), Tucker Gallagher (Vice-President), Sharon Dreyfuss (Treasury), and Christine Szathmary (Secretary).

November 2011 General Membership Meeting Minutes
The U Street Neighborhood Association had their General Membership Meeting November 10th, 2011 at 7:00 pm. Candidates for officers gave speeches, and Level 2 Development gave an update on their project on 1919 14th St NW (@ Wallach Place) and their request for variances.

October 2011 U St General Meeting Minutes
The U Street Neighborhood Associattion had it general membership meeting on October 13th, 2011 at 7:00 pm; Source Theatre, 1835 14th St. NW, 2nd Floor. The DC Historic Preservation Office came and gave a brief presentation and discussed historic issues and the development process among other items.
